The Legislative Writer’s Forum of the National Assembly visited Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company Limited on August 1, 2018 to present the Excellent Leadership and Humanitarian Service Award 2018 to the Ag. Managing Director, Mr. Eddie Ajon.

This was presented after the association carefully watched the performance of the company and decided that the performance of the Ag Managing Director meets their requirements for the award considering his excellent leadership, social and humanitarian service delivery to the community.

Presenting the Award, the President of the Legislative Writer’s Forum, Mr. Agi Odey noted that from their review, the excellent performance can be attributed to the effective financial management and managerial skills that have resulted in the effective and consistent deployment of bus Services in the FCT.

Mr. Ajon during his vote of thanks dedicated the award to all Staff and Management of the company that worked assiduously to achieve the milestone. He thanked the organization for their mark of encouragement which would encouraged the staff and management to do more in the future. He promised to ensure more is done in making Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company improve and become a reference point for urban public transport operations in Nigeria.

The Legislative Writer’s Forum was established in 2003, by the National Assembly press corps to commend Politicians, Civil Servants, Private Sector and individuals who are adjudged to contribute positively to the wellbeing of Nigerians.
