Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company Limited (AUMTCO) has added a new feather to its outstanding profile as the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) presented the Fleet Operators Certification of Excellence of class B grade to the company.

The certificate was presented by FRSC Dutse Alhaji Unit Commander, Mr LT Okonkwo who was represented by Mrs SO Agbakoba (Chief Route Commander) and Mrs S.T Olawoyin (Transport Officer) at the FRSC office RS7.111 Dutse Alhaji Abuja (Public Service Institute) on 11 July 12, 2018.  

AUMTCO was awarded the certificate having gone through preliminary processes and met the requirements of the Road Transport Safety Standardization Scheme for the FRSC. The FRSC advised AUMTCO to intensify efforts to further progress from Class B to A category by promptly preparing for the upcoming annual review scheduled to hold in August 2018. 

The certificate was received by Mr Tunde Akintola (Head Monitoring, Marketing and Communication), Mr. Muhammed Yakubu (Deputy Manager Planning), and Mr. Olaniran Akinyele (Fleet Coordinator) on behalf of the Managing Director. They assured the FRSC that more efforts would be made to further strengthen the relationship with the Command in areas of capacity building for drivers and other technical personnel.
