AUMTCO Vendors guidelines during COVID-19 Strategic Operations
  1. It is recommended that you wear disposable gloves and a face mask that Management has provided for you.
  2. Maximum passengers onboard should be 22 seating,
  3. Passengers should seat behind each other
  4.  Each passenger should seat on a single seat, occupied by a single passenger 
  5. Physical/Social distance must be observed during boarding and passenger alighting from the buses.
  6. Commuters at every loading point must observe at least 1Meter physical/social distance while on queue to board buses
  7. Ensure Passengers do not stand in the bus
  8. All passengers must wear their face mask always, under no circumstance should it be removed.
  9. Drivers, Vendors and Supervisors must use their gloves and face mask always
  10. Limit close contact with others by maintaining a distance of at least 1 Meter, when possible.
  11. Once onboard, under no circumstance should passenger buy outside
  12. During peak period, ensure only passengers on queue are allowed to board.
  13. Doors must be closed before arriving at the terminal, on no account should the door be opened without queue
  14. Avoid touching surfaces often touched by passengers, use gloves if required.
  15. Practice routine cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched surfaces, including surfaces in the driver cockpit commonly touched
  16. Proper hand hygiene is an important infection control measure. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, use the hand sanitizer provided by Management.
AUMTCO Supervisors roles during the COVID-19 Strategic Operations
  1. It is compulsory that you wear disposable gloves and face mask that Management has provided for you.
  2. Ensure orderliness & social distancing are maintained at the loading points 
  3. Ensure passengers' temperature are checked with thermometer before been admitted into the bus; where thermometers are provided.
  4. Strict adherence to limited number of passengers on board (maximum of 22 seating passengers). 
  5. Close monitoring of passengers on buses to ensure social distancing is observed.
  6. Make sure Drivers and Vendors are wearing their face masks and hand gloves. 
  7. To make sure passengers are on face masks before been admitted to the bus.
  8. Ensure tickets are issued to passengers before boarding the bus.
  9. To capture the passengers details on the journey form without causing delay.
  10. Incase there is a health challenge with any passenger, immediately alert the office.
  11. To observe general safety measures in the cause discharging their duties. 
  12. To report daily observations for management decision
 
AUMTCO Drivers guidelines during COVID-19 Strategic Operations
  1. It is recommended that you wear disposable gloves and a face mask that Management has provided for you.
  2. Clean your driver’s cabin and salon using disinfectant on a daily basis, preferably several times a day. Focus in particular on the inside and outside door handles, as well as the steering wheel and dashboard when cleaning the driver’s cabin. Focus on individual head restraints and armrests of passenger seats and handrails when cleaning the salon/interior of the bus.
  3. Drive with the windows open. Avoid using air condition.
  4. Wipe seats, seatbelts, and all internal and external handles.
  5. Wash hands with water and liquid soap for 30 seconds. Disinfect hands regularly before entering and after leaving the vehicle and after completing the required cleaning procedures.
  6. Passengers should not stand behind or beside the Driver or Vendor - maintain social distance of at least 6 feet.
  7. Stay in the driver’s cabin whenever possible while on duty unless otherwise required. 
  8. Sick Staff are required to stay home and inform their Supervisor.
  9. If you or your family members show potential symptoms of COVID-19 such as a dry cough or fever, immediately inform your Supervisor and Contact the NCDC on Toll Free Number: 0800 9700 0010, Whatsapp: +234708 711 0839, SMS Number: 0809 955 5577 and stay away from office.
  10. Inform passengers about the importance of maintaining a distance of 6 feet from others. Monitor compliance, especially when identifying passengers with respiratory symptoms.
  11. Be responsible and use your common sense.
  12. Follow any specific guidelines given by AUMTCO, FCTA and NCDC and general recommendations/instructions issued by reliable health authorities.
General Field Staff Guidelines
  1. Thermometer are provided to check temperature at selected loading points
  2. Cleaning & disinfection: Regular disinfection of vehicles and equipment (such as handrails) with special anti-microbial cleansers is essential to reduce infection risks. This is to be carried out by the Driver and Vendor.
  3. Hand sanitizers and disinfectants shall be provided for every bus. Sanitizers should be used as the passengers board the buses.
  4. More space & social distancing: Implement measures that increase the distance between passengers to minimize the risk of infections.
  5. Customers are to use face masks before boarding our bus always in order to protect from infection risks
  6. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
  7. Key times to clean hands in general include:
    • Before, during, and after preparing food
    • Before eating food
    • After using the toilet
    • After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
Additional times to clean hands on the job include:
    • Before and after work shifts
    • Before and after work breaks
    • After touching frequently touched surfaces, such as fareboxes and handrails
    • After putting on, touching, or removing cloth face coverings
